LTR Relationship Model™

It takes a lot to make a relationship work, especially long-term. The LTR Relationship Model™ illustrates all elements in a relationship, including the relationship one has with oneself. Furthermore, the LTR Relationship Model™ contains all the relationships among the relationship elements and, even more importantly, entails the process of how a relationship is built.

In summary, the LTR Relationship Model™ (see top right a summary of the model) shows all relationship elements, all relationships among the relationship elements and the process of how a relationship is built. Understanding the LTR Relationship Model™ helps anyone in understanding how excellence in a relationship is achieved.

The LTR Relationship Model illustrates the dynamics of a relationship. The combination and interaction of all arrows in the LTR Relationship Model ultimately decides your relationship with somebody else.

The LTR Relationship Model is used for the clarification of the relationship between two people. A chain of LTR Relationship Models can be used to clarify the relationship among many people, with you being one of them. As such it can be used in companies to do a detailed stakeholder analyses. In private life it can be used to clarify why you are having a difficult time to be happy with your partner or with a friend.

The LTR Relationship Model does not clarify the process of how the relationship was established. Having an understanding of how a relationship was formed can provide extra insight on why a relationship is as it is, as visualized with the LTR Relationship Model. In order to research how the relationship was established a link must be made to the Process-Content (PC) fundament of Natural Business Excellence .
