![]() LTR and Relationship ProcessThe LTR philosophy views a relationship as a process that starts with the L element, which stands for "Love/Like", continues with the T element, which stands for "Trust", and is maintained with the R element, which stands for "Respect", as follows: The L element illustrates that a natural relationship is initiated with involved parties naturally having good intentions within and towards each other and with both parties naturally standing positive to engaging with one another. If this first element is not achieved, the relationship in theory is not meant to be The T element emphasizes that a relationship is built upon natural inner and mutual trust, in which there is no room for mutually disadvantageous behaviour The R element highlights that a relationship is sustained via a never-ending execution of activities that add value to both parties. In summary, the LTR philosophy entails the full suite of relationship elements that supports a complete relationship process, from the initial engagement (“the day you met”) to a stable long-term relationship. The philosophy focuses on the relationship between parties in each of the phases of the relationship process, which includes the relationship one has with oneself. |
